GM's Corner - Episode 25 - Baghdad
Jouve Crawford and I make history as we sit down for the first ever UMEBA-based GM's Corner podcast. We talk a bit of Jouve's background, cover OOTP and the league as a whole, a bit of Baghdad's plans...and the Jouve puts ME in the lightning round hotseat.

Historic! Nice interview...I look forward to reading Baghdad team news this season.
Oh, and I disagree with one thing you said, Jouve...you can most certainly talk to the computer after a 2-5 sim. In fact, I often do.

Good stuff. Loved your insight on the UMEBA, Jouve. Speaking as a Mumbai fan, though, feel free to utilize a 4 Range Shortstop whenever you feel inclined.

Great job. Really nice listen and to get an idea of the personality of Jouve along with the other GM's. But especially since Jouve is a guy I'm battling against in the UMEBA.
And to the interviewer, @RonCo, you live in Tucson! Home of Saguaro National Park! I really liked it there. I also really liked the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum too.

Someone who is relativity close to CT! When this craziness is all said and done, the next time I get to the garden to see a game I'll DM/PM ya ahead of time.

I really enjoyed this coaches corner, Jouve’s enthusiasm shone through and you could just see that penny dropping as he’s beginning to realise what makes the BBA/UMEBA universe so great. It’s not just a set & go league, you’ve actually got to think about the league & your team 100% of the time.
As Jouve says you don’t get meaningful joy talking to the computer, your Team News are you form of talking to the rest of the guys about your team. We’re all here, going through the same angsts as you are. Writing team news expresses that, and many a trade or tip has come from people who have read something in the team news. Good luck Jouve, hope you continue to develop as a GM

Re: GM's Corner - Episode 25 - Baghdad
I've picked up so many things already from reading what others have written. Not just in a competitive sense, but even how to better navigate the game which helps my sanity quite a bit.

Re: GM's Corner - Episode 25 - Baghdad
You can never read enough of the history here. There are such great TN’s, and I’m not just talking about the literary composition. TN’s come from the heart, they express your joy, your frustration, your pain with your team. Never be afraid of writing one, no-ones going to criticise it. You’ve just added to the rich history of the league, when you’re long departed, people can read what you did to make the team great (or stink lol)

Fun to hear from new OOTP players. Single player is a complete joke if you're able to manipulate AI lol. That being said, I do it every year.
