I enjoyed that, well done Tyler. Probably the best way to see where the balls are being hit is to watch the replays (go to Scores and for each one there’s a tab which says “watch replay”. If you poke round each player’s profile there is spray charts for the batter but for me this doesn’t seem to work, it’s just a blank field even if I tick or untick all the various outcomes so probably best to just watch the replays

Taylor, another great podcast covering the best division in baseball. Answering your question on why Rhodes is hitting in the cleanup spot, basically, I wanted to experiment with him there. My working theory is, with Kouros, Shi, and Simpson hitting in front of him, someone should be on second when Rhodes comes to the plate. He can then drive them in with a doink over the infield. Plus, he resets the table for my more traditional power guys. It’s all part of my “Turning of the Screws” philosophy — increased pressure, all the time.

Rhodes is such a weird player. I imagine this will probably work really well. I love seeing him still dinking his balls all over the field. I hope he never fades.
