They were all so much fun...because there's nothing more fun than chatting with a BBA GM...but Vic's may well be my favorite.

We gotta get these going again, especially since there are so many newer GM's in the community now.

I’ve heard I’ve got a face for radio podcasts.

I hate, hate, hate hearing my own voice. I know that’s a thing for a lot of people; I wonder why that is?

Plenty of opportunities, between BBA Today, GM Corner, AFBI, or creating your own podcast (it's way simpler than you'd think!)...

I worked as a radio reporter for 35 years and I can tell you it's a thing for virtually all people. The reason (and perhaps this is obvious) is that your voice emanates from within you, so you have basically spent your entire life hearing a version of your voice that is far different acoustically than those hearing you from a distance. In short, the person least familiar with how you truly sound is you. When you hear a recording, you're hearing your voice as others do, and it is odd if not disturbing.

Being on the radio regularly, I got very used to hearing how I sounded. It became familiar. But it never felt like 'my' voice.

My therapist can attest to this.

Good listen, I like that you went thru all the teams so everybody got at least a little time in the spotlight.

Maybe Mike should be our official podcast host. :)

Just wait until we know what we're talking about (ETA: never), then we can really go in-depth and actually bring up players instead of just winging it! Maybe even touch what's goin' down in the GBC, too!
