I also like Edmonton and Yellow Springs. I think this is Ron's year finally.

Nice episode, as always! I don't think the league would look down on you if you did your best to provide impartial analysis of your own trades...you've built up enough cache.
I think this too could be Ron's year. Edmonton would have been my favorite before the injuries to O'Brien and Thealer. My dark horse is California, who I think really did a nice job adding impressive offense at the deadline.

I'm not sure whether we'll see an Edmonton-Yellow Springs matchup to be honest. First, I'm not even sure whether Edmonton will win the division, although if we do, than we fair a lot better with the home field advantage in the playoffs with a .854 winning percentage at home and .629 away. If the season ended today, Edmonton would be 31-17 (.646) against the playoff contenders this season and it doesn't get much better if you swap one of them out for Jacksonville or Charm City, who Edmonton is 5-8 against. So, all the playoff contenders have shown that they can beat Edmonton. Combine that with some injury troubles as the end of the season approaches and Edmonton could be in trouble.
It's an even more challenging trek through the playoffs for Yellow Springs. If the season ended today, Yellow Springs would be 18-19 against the current playoff contenders. It will be a fun race to the finish.
Overall, I feel okay about my chances albeit slightly more nervous about my offensive production. Yi-ke Hsaio is taking Thealer's place at second and he's been tearing it up all year when I've been scattering him in some starts. It's nice to have a guy that hit 50 doubles in his first full season able to come off the bench. My SS becomes Tim Ray, which I am not excited about, so my defense will struggle more which may lead to some other problems too. Thealer will be back before the playoffs though and will be forced to play short. O'Brien could be back for a late playoff run if I get that far, we'll have to see how my defense holds up.

Hard to argue against YS and EDM the way they're running away from the rest of their leagues. I'm feeling fairly confident about my own chances, but it's gonna be a tight division race.

I’m too far back to catch Edmonton. They will get that homefield edge and a bye which will be huge given their current injuries.

Terrifying that you're so sure of this. I guess as long as my pitching holds up we'll be alright.
