I honestly believe any team in this division could rocket to the top or shoot down to the bottom throughout the course of a month. I have taken three out of four from Wichita in both series we've had so far, but their bats scare me. I think the six games against the Jimmies and Rockville will be interesting. I could struggle there.
Vegas and Calgary are clearly outstanding teams who should have a good month. Neither have schedules that look to be overwhelmingly difficult. We could see Phoenix or San Antonio turn it on this month and join the fray too.
I would totally love to join, but my schedule is a little wonky and it makes it difficult to get in there. Things will align eventually though.Rubaboo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 2:08 pmAnd Mexico City!crobillard wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 12:09 pmWell done. Yeah, the division-heavy slate makes for interesting storylines as the season chugs on. I was looking last night, surprised I'm only 6 games out of a wildcard. I was encouraged until I remembered that all of the guys I need to pass are the same guys in the division spots in front of me. It's very confusing be this frustrated and still only a good few weeks away from a playoff spot.
Also: you should try to join us for one of these.
Admittedly, I love the deep divisions for this exact reason. It's hard to run away and hide, and a hot month can turn things totally around. There's always something to play for, too. Even if my team sucks, I can still pretty much guaranteed that I can be in position to be a major spoiler.Rubaboo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 2:08 pmYeah, the division-heavy slate makes for interesting storylines as the season chugs on.
