I always say you need to wait until 40 games to properly evaluate a team. But Charm City has my attention, Glad to see things turning around in Charm City.

Nice work, again, Justin. I have a man-crush on Mons Raider. I'm kicking myself for not pursuing him harder out of Madison.

Charm City is no doubt a better team and a legit contender for the playoffs. The .690 winning percentage is not sustainable though. They have played a lot of bad teams early and most of the offense is hitting on the high end of their capabilities. Once the schedule gets tougher and the bats can't win games alone, the pitching will get exposed. I expected Charm City to fall below Rockville for sure and probably New Orleans and Jacksonville before all is said and done.

But... Charm City is probably the heir to the JLA throne when Rockville finally does fall from grace. They have a lot of great things working for them and are not far off at all.

Also, on a side note, I like the podcast range this league is producing and how they all have their own thing going on. I feel like "What's Brewing" is the professional high-end take on the day to day workings of the BBA. Brett and Fred's AFBI is like a random morning radio show with people riffing on the league and its players, complete with incoherent listener call-ins. I hope Joe keeps up his not-taking-itself-too-seriously Boise podcast. I try to make my podcast (hopefully, I continue on and don't get bored with it) into one where I'm looking more at the BBA forest rather than the trees.

Also, Ron's amazing GM Corner. I love it purely because it reminds me of a high end PBS program.

Been a surprising start. Even with a weaker schedule. Not that I feel I need to defend ourselves because most points about coming back to Earth are legitimate, but we are 5-1 versus teams with current winning records. :)

I said on the League Chatter that this month will certainly be a test. 2 in San Antonio, Jacksonville coming to town for 4, and going to Rockville and Calgary for 4 apiece. I don't over look Mexico City at this point either despite the slow start. Phoenix at the end of the month. Montreal "should" be my easiest series but even that is on the road and being in the middle of JAX and RCK could put us in a bad spot. I'd be ecstatic to go .500 and would feel much better about our playoff chances.

Boise makes it's first mention on What's Brewin'! Oh, it was in regards to an injury which could be seen as positive? Sweet!

1. Gushing over French doesn't count.
2. I don't think I've done anything (yet) to get pissed off about so I've slid under that radar.
3. Given the team's current trajectory, I could unfortunately see a future mention or two.

Great stuff, as always...truly enjoy seeing a new episode each week!

I've said all of those things to Dennis French, verbatim.
