What's Brewing In The Brewster. Episode 5
We missed last week because I was at a damn farm show, but were back this week!
This week we cover:
Charlotte's Uniforms
Bobby Lynch & Mario Deortez Extensions
Chris Kelly Trade
Injury News
Who's left to be traded?
Of course a LPT.
I also added a few tunes this week...Let me know if you dislike that idea.

Also here's some alternate Cougar Logo's that I mentioned I would drop:

Don't worry about further expansion. Omaha's never going to the playoffs anyway.

Love this series. Music was good, but a little loud compared to your voice. Those logos are awesome.

Yea I noticed that to on the playback. I am trying to tinker with it to make the music not be so loud.crobillard wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 12:50 pmLove this series. Music was good, but a little loud compared to your voice. Those logos are awesome.

I can't decide if I'm pissed off because I haven't been pissed off from one of these episodes yet or if I'm generally just a pissed off person.

Re: What's Brewing In The Brewster. Episode 5
Best single person podcast about a fictional baseball league based upon a mid-80s movie!
All of my fears about Lynch have not been quelled by his first month in Calgary. The xFIP continues to rise while the pitch ratings continue to fall. Just before Spring Training, Lynches pitches were 10 Fastball, 10 Curve, 8 Change; now they are 10 Fastball, 8 Curve, 6 Change. His changeup is dangerously close to dropping him into 'Borderline Starter' land. Not that guys can't still be successful with that designation, but they do take another hit to K-rate if they are not a 'Starter' (on top of the hit from lower pitch ratings). If it weren't for the steep drop-off of those pitch ratings, I am pretty sure Lynch would have been a Hurricane earlier this season.
Every pitcher has risks (including Kelly), but I had made it pretty clear to Chris that I was very concerned about the near future for Lynch.

Oh, and Mexico City has now played 9 fewer games than the team with an open air stadium in Florida. With the rainfall in Mexico City, I'm not sure a retractable roof would prevent rainouts
