Join us as Ron Collins talks to Boise GM Joe Lederer about where he's from, a little golfing, how he's started putting together his team's plans, a big free agent signing...and, of course, there's the infamous lightning round.

Thanks for having me!
And apologies to @felipe for my brain-fart at 16:22. It was Don Logan and his one-year, $5M deal that was on the tip of my tongue. Was trying to sing your praises, Stu!
To those who have not been on the GM Corner, the heat of hot seat is REAL.

Thoroughly enjoyed this and hope more are made.
I had the privilege(?) to live in Bakersfield, CA for about a year after moving there to bump up my resume before moving back to the mid west. I spent quite a bit of time in Huntington Beach, Long Beach, and at the Santa Monica Pier. The family and I actually went back in Jan 2018 to Disneyland and went to Huntington Beach to get on Davey Jones Whale Watching. I think were planning another trip this January now that Star Wars land is open.

Good stuff, and as someone who won a Landis running a 6 man rotation it warmed my heart to hear others considering it.

I also like 6 man rotation at least in spots throughout the regular season. Unfortunately I have yet to acquire 6 SP good enough to start in Montreal. Maybe one day!

Who says you need 6 good SP to make it work....
True, I don't necessarily do it for strategy reasons but rather to limit innings thrown and save their arms. I only have a couple guys currently that I am concerned with their arms. Everyone else is stop gaps until better days in Montreal.

Yeah, I mix it up with 4, 5 and 6 man rotations throughout the season. Sometimes I'll just start someone who I feel is good for a few innings. Doesn't really matter. I just like to manage fatigue and try to get everyone pitching at 100%.
