this is actually my 2nd so I know the drill. The navy is actually going to help my podcasting availability because in the middle of October they are sending me to intel school for 2 months where I cant bring my family. Of course that means my wife will have to deal with the new baby by herself, which just thrills her... She will have to enjoy some #cheesepizza to cope I suppose.agrudez wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 10:20 amFTFYusnspecialist wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 10:00 ammy wife is being induced on Saturday night (if she doesn't go before then), so I am probably out for the next 3+ months.
(grats, btw)
Congrats and good luck. I hope it goes better for you than when my wife was induced with our oldest. Induced on Tuesday, he wasn't born until Saturday. They tell me that isn't common...usnspecialist wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 10:00 ammy wife is being induced on Saturday night (if she doesn't go before then), so I am probably out for this weekend.
Yikes. Our first came about 6 hours after inducement and our second came about 1.5 hours after. I hear the first is always the hardest/longest.
our first one was 20.5 hours from start to finish, we are hoping this one is significantly less.Rubaboo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 10:33 amCongrats and good luck. Twins. 2 hours from the time of inducement until we mentioned to the nurses, "We told you last night that we actually preferred a C-section," and us getting into the delivery room. 15 minutes after that both kids were out. And after that, it was an hour before I left the NICU and went to find what room my wife was in.usnspecialist wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 11:14 amour first one was 20.5 hours from start to finish, we are hoping this one is significantly less.Rubaboo wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 10:33 amCongrats and good luck.
