A Few Beers In 2035.3

Post by bschr682 » Mon Jul 09, 2018 7:54 am

Alright so this one will most likely line up near the trade deadline. That leaves a lot of options for chit chat. As you can tell from the last podcast, its actually really easy to make a trade too.

So come one, come all to the next show. It would be especially interesting if people would hash out their trades live (wouldn't affect anything as the podcast would get posted once the deadline is already past most likely).

It's also fun to make hypothetical trades for other teams. We talked trades and fixing teams alot in the episode that we recorded over the weekend, a deadline special could be amazing. The more opinions the better.

Not saying I would (or wouldn't), but how exactly do you participate?

Literally just by hopping on the Skype call we set up. It's generally pretty free form, we just talk about whatever the course of conversation takes us to. If you've got an axe to grind, bring it with you, otherwise just come with an open mind and an opinion or two.

I admit I am a bit biased, but I highly recommend people joining these. They are a lot of fun and while we occasionally have things we want to talk about, we are by no means constrained to those ideas.

any thoughts on when this will happen? Wife and kid will be out of town this weekend so I would have a lot more flexibility.

I might be able to join in this Saturday. :bye: Gotta have enough notice for me to make sure I have beer in the house though - currently empty. Running low on gin too.

Loose plan is to start this up tonight some time around 8:30ish central time. As always, I'll pop a Skype link in this thread when the action starts. Everyone is welcome to hop in for as long as you want to.

Since I am already a few beers in (this is what happens with a flight delay), I can promise this will be a fine performance by me. Either that or I will agree to trade this potentially great performance for a few complimentary performance down the road....
