i havent listened to this one yet, but i love this series. Will be interesting when ron starts having repeat guests, because he has to run out of GMs eventually. Looks like he will get thru about half the league in a full season (i want to say the first one with me was right before the start of the season).

I think there area few who prefer to stay on the sidelines, but yeah, it'll be fun to see how or if they change after everyone's been on. These are a blast to do.

You guys touched on this in the podcasts. Free agents after next season...
-Salazar age 35
-Winson age 33
-Behner age 31
IMO this should be the clean break into a rebuild. Charm City has been successful in recent years because of top end talent rather then a depth of above average guys. These three players combined for 17.4 WAR this season. By not resigning Salazar,I question how much money you will have to replace him because a good $20 million of his salary would most likely be needed to resign Winson and Behner(who are huge bargains right now).
And resigning Winson is going to be a huge gamble. Without knowing for sure what he'll be asking for, it's tough to gauge. You'd have to think he is looking for a huge payday though. I'd give him 3 years at $15 mil. But what if he won't budge from 6 years? That could be a pickle.
Behner is by far the safest pick to extend. But my question is... if you can't bring them all back, Is it worth bringing any of them back? Rockville is about to blow past everyone in the JLA and most of your better prospects are a few years away. If I were running Charm City I would do everything to win next season. If things go south, you could pull an audible and trade them all and get about 9-10 solid BBA ready prospects.
Disclaimer: Sometimes I feel like I come off as opinionated know it all. But in reality I just have fun debating the counter points and "what if's". You've had a lot more success in the league then I have and know your team better then I do.

And this makes you different from the rest of us, how?

That probably is the best route. And if we win the Landis, we may go that route. But I’ve done that before, many times. Kind of want to see if I can keep the band together, for better or worse. My mind may also change once I see what these guys are asking for.
