Podcast: Live Sim 2024 Sim #23

Post by recte44 » Wed May 02, 2018 10:32 am

This might be the most boring thing ever, or maybe there might be something to it. Mainly I just wanted to start playing around with Anchor which I think is the solution to all of our Podcasting efforts!!!

Check it out Here!

ooh I like it. If it works out at all, I think I would have a blast joining in on a live podcast for the final sim of the year. I'm sure the league would have a blast listening to me meltdown while losing 7 straight to Calgary.

Matt have you thought about a Twitch live stream so that we can watch along with you?

Matt!!

I loved this!! It's like listening to radio news update.

It might be too much to do every sim in the regular season, but You should definitely do this for the playoffs.

This is cool. Feels like listening to an old-time radio broadcaster. Like something on the armed services radio from way-back. :)

That or Youtube Live. Live sims are fun.

Brett mentioned something I'd thought about before with doing a live broadcast of the expansion draft. Once the pool is set, have Matt get in a call with Stu and Brett and do the draft live. That'd be really cool.

Pretty damn good actually. Just like a news bulletin, would sound great if you went through each day just like a radio round up of the scores, transactions etc.

It got me to download the Anchor app and I just might try to produce a weekly Sluggers podcast for 2035 on it.

maybe it was my crappy work computer, but i wasnt able to rewind and fast forward easily. I couldnt drag to a specific point, and the buttons would skip big chunks of time.

Having more than you 3 isn't a bad idea. I just figured you're drafting, other people could make it kind of a clusterfuck. If you listening live, you can lobby for taking of bad contracts in chat.

Man, my phone hates Anchor. Playback kept freezing on me. Probably would work better on my computer but if I'm listening it's always on my phone.

I like the idea of the screen share if you're going to continue 'casting the sims. I use a screen cap software when we do AFBI, I just haven't posted it because it's not super interesting to watch. It might be better for this type of application.
