That said I do prefer good beer, just not that hoppy shit
You prefer good beer as in Bud light or other marvellous stuff that would get you stoned in a biblical sense outside a church in England? I’d rather cut my testicles off than drink that “ good beer “ :) :)

Now, a good 10% Russian Imperial Stout wakes up the spirit  failing that IPA is a more than adequate substitute

lol. Bud Light is in the piss water category.

I would definitely enjoy a Russian Imperial Stout.

I agree, Lane - hops suck. Beer snobs can mock it, but you can't beat Blue Moon and Heineken in my book.

Actually when I first started to go to Amsterdam in my youth we avoided all the Heineken bars as it really is piss in England and searched out the Amstel bars. Boy was I pissed off when on about my third visit to Amsterdam I was dragged on a tour round the Heineken Brewery with the promise of free beer only to discover that Heineken owned Amstel anyway. Same beer, just different yeast lol.

Never had Heineken in US but it is marginally better in Europe than England, we get real “brewed under licence’ piss water at twice the price. Thankfully I’m not really a lager drinker anyway

Me and a buddy of mine bought a 12 pack of Heineken years ago. Long story short we threw 8 of them in the trash.

Drank one each, was terrible. Gave it another try to confirm results and we were right. They sat in my fridge for a week and I had to throw them out.

Tsingtao, Heineken, bud, Micholob etc- all highly overrated beers produced by multinational corporations who couldn’t give a toss if you enjoy the beer, your purpose in their grand scheme is to buy the beer and rave about the advertising

The best part about beer is that only the first two matter. After that it all tastes the same.

speaking of beer, did anyone else see the titans guys shotgunning beers and pouring it down a catfish before drinking it at the hockey game tonight? Disgusting, and yet hilarious at the same time.
