With this package of 22 minuites of BBA glory, we sit down with Atlanatic City GM Joshua Biddle to talk about all things Gamblers. You'll get insights into the Gorman Injury, what drives Joshua's approach, how he thought about those huge pithcing contracts, and the one thing about the Gamblers that no one's talking about.

Among other stuff, of course.

GET IT HERE!

NOTE: Still working with the recording process...this one has a bit of raggedness to Joshua's track. Sorry about that.

Great podcast as always. Joshua has been one of the most under rated GM's in recent years. He took a shot with the veteran pitchers and almost made it to the Landis. Then, with virtually the entire league waiting for the bottom to fall out, he has consistently put a decent team on the field and always seems to find undervalued players that contribute.

Yeah, it's almost like he's a Heartland quality GM or something.

Chalk up Atlantic city (along with charm city) as a team I completely misread at the start of the year. Great interview.

I love getting a little bit of LBC in all these podcasts!

Gorman really took off! But like Joshua said I didn't really have the room for him, and I'm happy with the return I got for him. Win win in my book.

Joshua actually commented on you and sim racing, but I edited it down for time. :)

I actually credit sim racing for saving my actual life. I've had two separate things that have happened on the road that I'm sure sim racing helped manage my response. Here's one of them....http://typosphere.com/2014/07/21/simula ... d-iracing/

Thanks for all the kind words above! Wasn't sure how I'd do on a podcast, I'm about as socially awkward a person as there is :bowtie:

Read the article Ron, that definitely could have been real bad. I believe there to be at least three incidents that I avoided in real life thanks to sim racing, though none of them would have been catastrophic had they actually happened like yours could have been.

Back when I was a kid and racing stock cars, I was always a safe and attentive driver (at least compared to most teens), but the further and further I got from actually racing on the track, the more lax I felt my driving was becoming. I didn't notice it until I picked up sim racing about 20 months ago. Suddenly I was keeping two hands on the wheel at all times and focusing further down the road (while still scanning the problem areas that would pop up closer to my immediate path of travel)

As someone who drives on the road for a living, I very much appreciate this.
