Podcast: GMs Corner: Quick Pitch Edition!

Post by RonCo » Thu Feb 22, 2018 8:59 am

If you listened to the first episode of GMs Corner (and if not, why not?), you know Randy left us with a cliff hanger.

Check out this 5-minute end-cap (the first GMs Corner Quick Pitch) to hear the end of the story!

Listened to this while feeding baby Viktor. Not surprised by the FL top pitcher either. And to Randy's comment, I think you need 6 or 7 solid starting pitchers to be safe. I'm not usually one to shuffle starting pitchers all that much, and we had 8 players start at least 8 games last year (and someone who was in the pen most of the year wound up as our #4 starter during the playoff run, thanks to injuries)

Finally got the missing games inputted in, and the resulting data made the Frick portion of this broadcast obsolete (at least at the top end). A late push by a mystery contender resulted in a change at the top.
