So to try my little experiment out, I sat down with Randy Weigand to talk all things Sugar Kings, JLS, and a few other things of the esoteric league-wide kinds. It went 40 mins a little longer than I generally intend, but such is life, eh?

Check it out here

you are learning what ted has already learned. I ramble on and on when you get me going on a podcast. I really enjoyed this one, thanks for doing it.

By the way I cut the last four minutes for use in another very brief podcast later. Check out the last few minutes of this one.

For some reason Ron is only in the left channel and Randy is only in the right channel. Makes me feel like I'm right in the middle of the conversation ;)

Interesting. Ill have to check my mixing.

On the other hand, you could just call it my Pink Floyd stage and watch the Wizard of Oz by it.

To be fair, I said De Castillo should be moved to the middle infield back when he was still in the complex - http://montybrewster.net/MBBA/phpBB3/vi ... 23&t=17638

And Randy, don't worry too much about what others are saying. Here's some quotes about us:

There's lots of ways to skin this cat. That was what was always fun about Lane and I coming in at the same time. He went with the full-on teardown rebuild, while I tried to find cheap veterans and flip marginal prospects for more immediate help for the key prospects. Funny thing is, both ways ended up working out.

Among the great things about this league is that so many great approaches exist.

my apologies for my dog spotting the mailman around the 30 minute mark and proceeding to go bonkers in the background.

If pets or kids don't make an appearance, it isn't an official podcast.

I think the length was more due to the fact that I planned on too many areas to cover. I can cut them down as I learn a little more. If I get good at this, they'll probably be 15-30 minutes, and quite a bit tighter..but you never know. The main thing is to have fun, and I think we accomplished that. :hi5:

Great stuff guys.

Really interested to see how a Polo Grounds stadium would play in this league.

I'm excited as well, I'm honestly not sure if OOTP will consider it a pitchers or hitters park because of the weird dimensions.
