Audacity can dump mp3, right? Maybe even mp4. Have to check.

It is entirely possible I've been adding extra steps for no reason. I'm probably only scratched the surface of what audacity can do.RonCo wrote:Audacity can dump mp3, right? Maybe even mp4. Have to check.
Can you post mp3 to youtube though? For some reason I thought it had to be video.RonCo wrote:Use "Export" and select mp3.
I don't know. I should do a YouTube channel just for writing stuff, but I haven't done anything with it, yet.Ted wrote:Can you post mp3 to youtube though? For some reason I thought it had to be video.RonCo wrote:Use "Export" and select mp3.
I'd be down.RonCo wrote:I can probably be available for a bit Friday or Saturday to chat about the off season or whatever. I was thinking of doing a rotating GMs corner, interviewing a round robin collection of us...maybe quick 15 min segments or whatever.
well after the first season for the predictions, tyler and i already have one of the champions nailed (ted had no faith, for shame...) and all of us still have all of the "not so yay" teams correct as well.Ted wrote:Link
I fell asleep and so now Matt is making this slightly outdated with today's sim. Dammit. Here are the standings as they existed at the time this was recorded.
And the wild card standings
If you want to skip this year's playoff discussion to get to the debate on the fortunes of teams going forward (that I stole from Effectively Wild), skip to 41:05.
Group Yay 2034-2028
Randy: Louisville, Havana, Montreal, Las Vegas, Yellow Springs
Tyler: Charm City, Havana, Twin Cities, Las Vegas, Yellow Springs
Ted: Louisville, Montreal, New Orleans, Twin Cities, Las Vegas
Group Not So Yay 2034-2037
Randy: Atlantic City, Brooklyn, Hawaii, Huntsville, Mexico City
Tyler: Des Moines, Edmonton, Huntsville, Nashville, San Antonio
Ted: Atlantic City, Hawaii, Huntsville, San Antonio, Valencia
expansion also throws a wrench in things, but that is the breaks. Huntsville still has a tough division and only 3 years still to get there. I agree it looks more likely now that stever has sprinkled some dust on the team, but they are hardly a lock by any means.Ted wrote:Can I get a redo on the Huntsville no playoffs prediction? That was pre-Stever return.
Right, just never acknowledge the fact that you picked Huntsville at all. Just act like you've always loved the Phantoms and never thought they were in any danger.RonCo wrote:No podcast take-back-sies.

It's hard to pick the teams that are going to step up. Much easier to just assume the status quo.usnspecialist wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 10:43 amwell we all dodged the Huntsville bullet again, only 1 more year to go guys!! Alas ted and I did lose out on Atlantic City making it, screw you Joshua!! With Mexico City and Brooklyn making it last year, what we are learning is that I am really bad at picking bad teams....
That will change next year though Ted. Tyler could never have predicted the Brain!Ted wrote: ↑Sun Nov 11, 2018 1:01 pmUpdated for first three seasons.

Oh what a difference three seasons makes.
I'm in trouble for winners. Louisville fell apart. Twin Cities lumped, ran into money problems and is fading fast. Not sure why New Orleans hasn't taken the next step. I blame bad free agent classes and unexpected pitcher lumping. Yellow Springs may have their last good shot this year. Why on earth did none of us have Rockville?
It's gonna be hard to dodge the Huntsville bullet much longer. We've all underestimated Joshua, although Tyler if I remember correctly thought he had a chance.
Tyler quietly proving again that he is one of the best in the biz. So far has a commanding lead with one champ and no unexpected postseason crashers.
It must be easy to dodge when I am aiming at my own foot.
Bumping this back to see how we all did.Ted wrote: ↑Mon Jan 29, 2018 6:23 pmLink
