Really thorough overview. I’m always envious of how easy it is to understand your roster. You don’t overcomplicate things, even in the context of all the trades you make.

Good news: you've got a young position group that should get better and a good pitching staff.
Bad news: that offense isn't very good currently and you now have a decent amount of money tied up in pitching staff. There aren't any impact prospects on the horizon.

The offence will never really be ‘good’ as long as we play in our home park.BaseClogger wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 1:39 pmGood news: you've got a young position group that should get better and a good pitching staff.

I wish it was easier to find team level park adjusted numbers. I’d guess you have like a 98 OPS+Knucklehead254 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 5:35 pmThe offence will never really be ‘good’ as long as we play in our home park.BaseClogger wrote: ↑Fri Jul 18, 2025 1:39 pmGood news: you've got a young position group that should get better and a good pitching staff.

Re: Bored at Work Podcast EPS #6 2063 Review
The problem with assessing Vancouver's offense is that it does not need to be very good for the team to skate into the playoffs. Based on history, they can make it in even ranking 13 or 14 in runs generated...though 14th makes it tough. But if they can make it up to 10th, they win the division. So, when VAN's bats make it to #10, they are "good." This means assessing them needs a scaled concept.
Similar for their pitching.
