A winning Sim, at 4-3 (recap, was a welcome respite in what was a terrible homestand for the Spuds. The offense was strange in scoring 4.0 runs per game but no player recording more than 5 RBI. Every starter but one had at least 1 RBI. Boise gave up 4.4 r/g which isn't great but they surrendered the scoring to isolated outbursts which allowed the offense to cover.
SPUDS OF THE SIM - SIM #11
Pitcher

SP Mahad 'Furball' Einan
15 G, 15 GS, 6-7, 3.78 ERA, 88.0 IP, 1.3 K/BB, 1.28 WHIP, +0.7 WAR
Closer Mario Santos made 5 appearances converting 3 of 4 save opps. Buddhapalita Kankipati was solid in his one start in Josh Clark's stead picking up the win allowing just 2 hits and no runs in 5.1 innings. Rookie Cornelio 'Deathblow' Martínez continued to impress showing up in 3 games fanning 4 in 5 innings allowing just one run. But Furball's one start easily eclipsed everything else as his start vs New Orleans was 1-run complete game in which he allowed only 4 hits and pitched around 4 walks.
Batter

1B William Coleman
59 G, 11 2B, 1 3B, 11 HR, 31 RBI, .254/.300/.483, 1 SB, +0.5 WAR
1B 'Jigga' Allison had an intolerable Sim recording only 2 hits but he did swipe 3 bases in as many attempts. LF Cosmo Pan delivered 3 RBI and slashed .481/.481/.593 from his new perch atop the lineup, while 3B Bill Kuhn logged 5 RBI on two doubles. But Coleman was solid yet again in Sim #11 slashing .333/.391/.619 posting 3 doubles, 1 HR, and 3 RBI.
