It was a middling Sim for Boise (recap) but a satisfying one as they took 2 of 3 from Vegas that included an epic 3-2 victory in 21 innings. There were some excellent pitching performances for both the Spuds and their opponents so scoring was tough to come by at just 3.0 runs/game. The pitching held up, however, only allowing 3.8 per.

SPUDS OF THE SIM - SIM #3

Pitcher

Thomas Turner
4 G, 4 GS, 2-2, 3.28 ERA, 24.2 IP, 1.4 K/BB, 1.26 WHIP, +0.3 WAR
SP Josh 'Kid' Clark went 7 innings against Las Vegas allowing just 1 run walking none and fanning 7, but the game would not be decided until the 21st inning of a 3-2 Spuds victory. CL Mario Santos has been almost spotless thus far in 2063 converting all 3 save oops presented to him and boasting a 1.12 ERA. Reliever Samir Qasim had an excellent Sim as well making 4 appearances allowing 4 hits in 4.2 innings while striking out 4. But Turner takes the nod this Sim with an absolutely brilliant showing in the finale vs Las Vegas shutting out the Hustlers in 8.0 innings allowing only 5 hits while fanning 4.

Batter

1B William Coleman
12 G, 2 2B, 2 HR, 5 RBI, .158/.195/.368, -0.2 WAR
Man, what a lowly Sim for the Spuds offense. The only barely notable numbers were posted by 1B Tracy Allison, who logged 3 RBI on 1 double, and Coleman who bagged 3 RBI of his own on a double and a HR. Less said the better...
