Boise suffered their first sweep at the hands of the Talons in Phoenix. They came back to take a series in Mexico City and the first game of a set in Calgary. The offense remains solid and somewhat steady with 4.4 runs/game during the Sim. But pitching had a nightmarish time giving up 5.6 r/g that included a 10-spot in both Phoenix and Mexico City. Now looms Calgary and the dreaded Las Vegas Hustlers.
SPUDS OF THE SIM - SIM #2
Pitcher

RP Samir Qasim
5 G, 2 SV, 0.00 ERA, 8.0 IP, 0 BB 7 K, 0.25 WHIP, +0.3 WAR
Qasim and RP Tim Stops are holding down the ship right now with the former having made 5 appearances and Stop making 6. Stops has been the victim of some bad luck but struck out 7 in 5.2 innings Sim #2 with only 3 walks. SP Niegloslaw Woywitka was betrayed by awful fielding in his one outing with 6 runs scored but only 2 of them earned in a 6-3 loss. Qasim, however, was almost flawless. He made 3 appearances which offered him 2 save opps which he converted and he fanned 5 in 4.1 innings.
Batter[/b]

SS Dan Raymond
11 G, 3 2B, 1 3B, 0 HR, 3 RBI, .250/.268/.375, 2 SB, +0.4 WAR
The offense was anemic yet again in Sim #2 with only DH Perry Taylor and Raymond eclipsing .300 AVG. 3B Bill Kuhn[/b] collected 5 RBI on 1 2B, 1 3B, and 2 HR and [url=https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 70881.html]LF Cosmo Pan only hitting .207 but serving up 3 doubles. 1B Tracy Allison posted 2 triples and 5 SB. He has yet to be stopped when swiping bases. When we get a chance, we'll give Raymond a shout. Raymond slashed .364/.364/.545 with 2 doubles, 1 triple, and a couple of stolen bases.
