Sim #14 (recap here) started off with 3 fumbles before the pitching staff got its footing and delivered 3 gems to brighten the scene heading into the All-Star break. It was a timely 3-3 as Calgary and Rocky Mountain both charged forward on 6-game win streaks and Phoenix posted 3 straight. Boise dropped to 2 games off the lead in the Frontier Division and hold the final wild card.

Lefty SP Matt McCartney provided a timely start against Charm City while RP Anthony Annear allowed just 2 runs in 7 innings over 3 appearances and RP Waseem bin Suhayb provided 5 scoreless innings over 2 games. But the Sim featured another beauty from Eckhoff shutting out Charm City for 6 innings allowing only 5 hits and striking out 5 in a 5-1 victory.
