Sim #11 (recap here) had Boise post a 3-4 Sim on the road against the #1 & #2 teams in the Atlantic Division. The Sim didn't have many close games, but when it did they made it count with the Spuds posting a 4-3 win over New Orleans and the Crawdads returning the favor 1-0 in 10 innings. Boise lost another game in the standings to Frontier Division leader Las Vegas but pretty much held serve with others.

With a lack of really close games there wasn't a lot of pitching gold to dredge from Sim #11. Newly acquired reliever Tom Bennett acquitted himself well in 2 appearances allowing no runs and striking out four. But we'll say Suhayb takes the honors this week. The righty made two starts in the Sim holding Montreal to 2 runs in 5.1 innings, then shutting out New Orleans for 5 innings while fanning 5. That's good for a 10.1 IP, 2 ER, 4 BB, 8 K line.

The lack of close games had the opposite effect on the hitting performances. 3B Mahine 'Dragnet' Karetu delivered 3 RBI on 3 doubles. CF Lou Bayou and DH Alfonso Rúbio both drove in 4 with the former adding 4 steals to his league-leading tally. But if there was every a way to seize a SotS nod by the throat, Halloway did it this Sim. On a slash of .529/.556/.882, the RF had 2 doubles, 1 HR, and 8 RBI.
