Trust me, we here at the Tuber Times are not lazy. But the full recap of Sim #9 disappeared into the ether after being written leaving this as the sole record that the week ever existed. We'll sum it up: pitchers Logan Hill, Noori bin Mu'awiyah, Adrián Fox, and Marvin 'Groucho' Winston were very, very bad. Ditto 2B Marcello Custello and DH Alfonso Rúbio. Now on to players who were at least slightly better...

Pitcher
Image
P Ed Noble
8 G, 8 GS, 1-3, 48.2 IP, 3.51 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, 0.7 WAR
Boise starter Waseem bin Suhayb had a great start in Calgary allowing on 1 run, but we just have to go with Noble who had 2 starts this Sim allowing only 1 earned run between them. He struck out 9 in 11.2 innings although he did allow 9 hits, there's always something to be said for pitchers who can pitch themselves out of trouble.

Batter
Image
CF Lou Bayou
57 G, 14 2B, 0 3B, 5 HR, 24 RBI, .309/.347/.428, 5 SB, 1.4 WAR
Bayou had 3 RBI in Sim #9 and so did 1B Bastião Fardos, but Bayou delivered his on 2 doubles and a homerun while striking out only 4.0% of his plate appearances (and walking 8.0%). For the Sim, Bayou slashed .348/.400/.565...though he did get cut down in his only SB attempt. This is surprisingly the first SotS to Bayou since the 3rd Sim.

Sim #9: P Ed Noble, CF Lou Bayou
Sim #8: P Ed Noble, SS Qutuz Mahdi
Sim #7: P Héctor Fuentes, DH Alfonso Rúbio
Sim #6: P Bill Keefe, 1B Bastião Fardos
Sim #5: P Geoffrey Greening, C Juan Gonzalez
Sim #4: P David Molina, 3B Gary Allen
Sim #3: P Logan Hill, CF Lou Bayou
Sim #2: P David Molina, CF Lou Bayou
Sim #1: P Harold Nothard, SS Qutuz Mahdi
Ben Teague, GM Boise Spuds
2682-3175, .457 PCT (5,857 games, 36 seasons)
11 Playoff Appearances, 1 Championship
