It's not ideal to have a losing Sim #9 at 2-4. Still, it was respectable even if it ended with 3 straight losses to mighty New Orleans. The offense looked a lot better than pitching, which is unusual for Boise. Still, GM Ben Teague is not going to complain when some bats a hot right now.

Newly acquired starter Waseem bin Suhayb had an excellent start vs New Orleans allowing only 2 run in 7.1 innings. But we'll go with Noble's start versus the same team. He sailed thru 7.1 innings allowing only 1 run on 6 hits while fanning 5. Noble usually can't be relied upon for outings like that so it's encouraging.[/url]

We have to give a nod to LF Grzegorz Kubrick and his 4 RBI on 2 HR and 1 double, but we'll name the SotS to the efficient, defense-minded Mahdi. The Egyptian SS slashed .350/.409/.500 and posted 3 doubles driving in 5 runs while scoring once.
