Well, Boise booked a winning Sim for the first time this season as they split with Rockville and took 2 of 3 from Edmonton in Sim #6. The offense "exploded" for 5.5 runs per game while some players in the pitching staff performed just well enough to make those runs count.
Pitcher
P Bill Keefe
10 G, 4 GS, 0-3, 32.2 IP, 4.41 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, -0.3 WAR
As we noted, there was a lot of offense in this Sim...which means very little decent pitching. But Keefe came out of nowhere to pitch 6.1 innings of 1-run ball walking none. He was in line for a victory until, well, you know CL Harold Nothard.
Batter
1B Bastião Fardos
35 G, 124 PA, 11 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR, 18 RBI, .292/.315/.475, +0.3 WAR
The veteran Fardos came to play in this Sim as he slashed .400/.400/.750 delivering 4 2B, 1 HR, and 7 RBI. He was the key reason the offense was able to step it up.
Sim #6: P Bill Keefe, 1B Bastião Fardos
Sim #5: P Geoffrey Greening, C Juan Gonzalez
Sim #4: P David Molina, 3B Gary Allen
Sim #3: P Logan Hill, CF Lou Bayou
Sim #2: P David Molina, CF Lou Bayou
Sim #1: P Harold Nothard, SS Qutuz Mahdi
