We take a tour up and down the ladder of the Boise Spuds organization to find out who's hot.

Mazatlan Guardafaros (R)
Image
CF/P Ignacio Lewis (R)
6 G, 6 GS, 4-1, 34.1 IP, 1.57 ERA, 3.9 K/BB, +1.3 WAR
Ignacio is a unique case. He can play CF as well as pitch and the Mazatlan coach has given him playing time at both. That's going to stop. Lewis' future isn't bright yet, but his ceiling is much higher as a pitcher.

P Ramiro Muñóz
10 G, 5 GS, 1 SV, 39.1 IP, 1.83 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, +1.3 WAR
Muñóz might spend a few years in the mid-minors.

HOT SPRINGS GATORS (S A)
Image
P Umar bin Riyad
9 G, 8 GS, 5-0, 35.0 IP, 3.60 ERA, 1.49 WHIP, +1.1 WAR
bin Riyad is the best pitching prospect out of S A and that's not saying a lot.

P Juan Hernández
7 G, 6 GS, 5-0, 43.2 IP, 0.41 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, +1.4
He has to bump, A LOT, to project as useful.

P Nick Wollard
9 G, 1 GS, 2-0, 23.0 IP, 1.17 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, +1.0 WAR

TULSA GINZELS (A)
Image
P Ryan Lee[/u]
16 G, 15 GS, 8-2, 105.2 IP, 2.81 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, +2.8 WAR

[url=https://statspl.us/brewster/reports/new ... 67358.html]P Diego Álvarez

25 G, 0 GS, 4-1, 12 SV, 25.2 IP, 2.10 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, +1.0 WAR
Álvarez had a great year in A ball and looks like a kid that might could fill a AAAA role.

P Leland Corbitt
18 G, 18 GS, 8-4, 117.0 IP, 3.15 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, +2.2 WAR

WEYMOUTH IRISH (AA)
Image
P Geoffrey Greening
7 G, 7 GS, 4-3, 52.1 IP, 2.75 ERA, 0.76 WHIP, +1.6 WAR
Greening has already earned a spot in the Boise rotation and looks to be a star for many years to come.

P Paul Cherry
23 G, 0 GS, 6-1, 10 SV, 30.2 IP, 0.59 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, +1.2 WAR
Cherry has also past thru AA and is plying his trade at AAA. It's not farfetched to expect him on the Boise roster real quick.

SALT LAKE CITY (AAA)
Image
P Dani Colomo
18 G, 7 GS, 7-2, 5 SV, 60.1 IP, 3.43 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, +0.6 WAR
Colomo is an interesting case as he should be a dominant starter but, well, just hasn't. He's good in relief, but he would be better as a solid mid-rotation, 99mph-hurling starter.

P Bill Keefe
15 G, 15 GS, 9-3, 103.1 IP, 2.61 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, +2.8 WAR
Keefe punched his ticket and has appeared in 3 games in the bigs thus far.

P Mark Baker
6 G, 6 GS, 4-2, 43.0 IP, 2.72 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, +1.5 WAR
Baker has been up and down between AAA and MLB all season. That may continue as he hasn't really flashed talent that would project in a big league rotation or bullpen. He's a high-strikeout kind of pitcher but also one with little movement on his pitchers so when they get hit, it's usually very hard.

I will be curious how Cherry does in AAA for you. He struggled for me but I've also since fired the coach he had in Indy, so mayhap he has some potential.

I liked Keefe he just wasn't worth keeping vs my upcoming youth. He'll be a good 13th man for you.
