Sim #10, recapped here, will be overshadowed by the loss of two key players in SP Daniel Camacho and 2B Xinpeng Zhào suffered season-ending injuries. And both in the same game.
SPUDS OF THE SIM - SIM #10
Pitcher
SP Logan Hill
13 G, 13 GS, 5-2, 3.82 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, +2.3 WAR
We'll go with Hill this Sim. Even though he got tagged for 7 runs in 5.1 IP in Edmonton with his 2nd outing of the Sim, his first was so great that he gets the nod. Going up against Rocky Mountain, Hill went 7 innings allowing only 1 run on 6 hits walking none and compiling 4 K's. And for what it's worth, he did pitch 4 scoreless innings in the 2nd outing but just, somehow, gave up all 7 runs in the 6th.
Batter
CF Lou Bayou
60 G, 266 AB, 11 2B, 4 3B, 3 HR, 30 RBI, .331/.357/.436, 15 SB, +2.1 WAR
Lou Bayou did what Lou Bayou does in Sim #10. He's not a power hitter, but delivers triples and doubles that clear bases and set up opportunities to score. In the 6 games, Bayou delivered 8 hits and 3 RBI, scoring twice, while slashing .320/.393/.320.
