Image WEEK IN REVIEW: (3-3) For what seems like eternity, Boise failed to put together a winning record for a week. The good news was the mighty Calgary Pioneers went 2-4, losing a game to the Spuds in the Frontier Division standings. Despite a little more breathing room, Boise is keeping its eyes on fellow division rivals Las Vegas and Edmonton, who have gone 20-5 and 16-9, respectively, in their last twenty five games.

ORE-IDA® TATER-TOTS EMOJI SUMMARY OF THE WEEK: 👍👍👎👎👍👎

HITTER OF THE WEEK: Hank Brewer - 10-for-24, 1 HR, 8 RBI (.417 AVG, 1.025 OPS)

PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Tom Warren - 3 G, 3.0 IP, 1-0, 1 SV, 2 K/0 BB (0.00 ERA, 0.33 WHIP)

GAME OF THE WEEK: The Spuds took care of business at home, throttling the New Orleans Crawdads to the tune of 9-1 on August 19th. Starting pitcher Pancho Germán was Player of the Game after giving up just three hits and one run in 7.2 innings. The win was Germán's 11th of the year and lowered his ERA to 4.74. On the offensive side, Boise's two elder statesmen, Hank Brewer (36) and Jared Gillstrom (37) led the way, each hitting two-run home runs. "We were firing on all cylinders today," Spuds manager Millard Davis told reporters after the game.

Huge.

Thanks for the reminder, I had that jotted down in my notes at home! I updated team news section to reflect that upcoming schedule...could see some serious movement one way or another in the next three sims.
