NEWS AND NOTES: Boise's bullpen was dealt a blow when rookie Jorge Maestas tore his labrum during mop-up duty of a 13-2 win against Phoenix on August 10th...Maestas will miss the rest of the season but is expected to be ready by next spring training...Maestas' injury could be the final straw in the front office's decision to keep the youngster as a dominate closer, a new role he took on when called up to Boise earlier this season...Maestas' final season stats were 4-2 with 6 saves, 2.59 ERA and 1.13 WHIP
