The Spuds remain in second place behind Calgary but still have the second-best record in the league and lead the Johnson League wild card standings.

GAME OF THE WEEK: Boise came out swinging in a offensive showing on July 28th against Atlantic City, resulting in a 15-6 win. Dennis French went 5-for-5, his second five hit game in the month of July. Gamblers' starter Juan López was battered around, giving up 8 runs (6 earned) in the first inning. The Spuds scored 9 runs in the opening inning and finished the contest with 17 base hits.
