[FEMALE VOICE]: Thank you for calling Nash and Associates, how may I direct your call?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Uh, Max Nash, please.
[FEMALE VOICE]: Mr. Nash is not in the office. May I leave a message?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Umm, sure. If you can let him know Bob in Boise called.
[FEMALE VOICE]: And your number, Bob?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Yeah, it's 208-434-6721. Thanks.

[MALE VOICE #1]: Hello?
[MALE VOICE #2]: How the hell did you get this number?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Who..who is this?
[MALE VOICE #2]: You damn well know who this is. You called me three times yesterday, didn't leave a message. You a butt dialer, Blaisdell?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Oh, Mr. Nash, I'm--
[MALE VOICE #2]: Don't use my name over the phone. Or ever, for that matter.
[MALE VOICE #1]: Uhh, what should I call you then?
[MALE VOICE #2]: You can call me your Fairy Godmother for all I care. What do you want? Talk fast.
[MALE VOICE #1]: Well, Mr. Fairy Godmother--
[MALE VOICE #2]: That was a joke, Blaisdell.
[MALE VOICE #1]: Oh, right. [chuckles] Well, I've left a few messages with your receptionist and--
[MALE VOICE #2]: I got 'em. What's so damn important over in Idaho?
[MALE VOICE #1]: [clears throat] I've been told you're the one to ask in regards to purchasing surveillance equipment. I heard you're the best.
[MALE VOICE #2]: Who'd you here this from? Vinnie? You Brewster boys are keeping me busy.
[MALE VOICE #1]: I'd rather not say but you've come highly regarded.
[MALE VOICE #2]: Is that so? Well, I'm not lowering my rate for Vinnie for some "refer a friend" discount. So what do you need? Look into who your star pitcher is banging on road trips? Find out if any of your Dominican players are on the juice?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Oh, no...nothing like that.
[MALE VOICE #2]: Well, what then?
[MALE VOICE #1]: We've become weary that sign stealing has become rampant in the league and--
[MALE VOICE #2]: Another one? What is it with you guys?
[MALE VOICE #1]: What do you ever mean?
[MALE VOICE #2]: I gotta hand it to you guys..everyone wants an edge. Just this month, I had calls from Madison and Brooklyn about setting up cameras at their ballparks.
[MALE VOICE #1]: Oh, you're quite mistaken. We don't want to steal signs. We want to prevent signs from being stolen.
[MALE VOICE #2]: What? How the hell are you going to do that?
[MALE VOICE #1]: To be quite honest, I'd prefer not to do this over the phone. Can we send someone to meet you?
[MALE VOICE #2]: An errand boy? [laughs] Sure, text me when and where. You guys are aware of my rate, right? I'm billing you for all this. We can talk about a retainer fee if this works out.
[MALE VOICE #1]: Fine, fine. I'll send you the information now.
[MALE VOICE #2]: Great. And watch those butt dials. [laughs]

Duration of call: 00:01:06

[MALE VOICE #3]: Hey, Bob. How's Atlantic City?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Fine, thanks. Got those Opening Day jitters already.
[MALE VOICE #3]: I bet. Well, no need to worry. We had a great spring. I think we'll start this season like gangbusters.
[MALE VOICE #1]: So what can I do for you, Gabe?
[MALE VOICE #3]: Well, are you guys all set with the communication devices?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Yup, tested them out today.
[MALE VOICE #3]: You really think this will work?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Of course. How can teams steal our signs if we don't show signs?
[MALE VOICE #3]: Yeah, but I still have concerns that teams will hear them.
[MALE VOICE #1]: Bullshit! All the catcher has to do is speak softly directly into his face mask and the embedded microphone will pick it up and transmit it to the mini-speaker our pitches have sewn into their caps. Technology these days is amazing. The guys can't even feel the speaker.
[MALE VOICE #3]: Yeah, in theory that's great. I still think batters will be able to hear the pitch. And what if the connection goes down?
[MALE VOICE #1]: Oh, poppycock. It's fine, you are worrying too damn much.
[MALE VOICE #3]: Okay. Well, good luck tomorrow. Keep me updated.

Boise would start the year losing their first eleven games and fourteen of their first fifteen. During the 1-14 start, Boise pitchers allowed 6.9 runs per game. Pitching coach Bob Blaisdell was fired on May 14 and Jumah Hamid was hired as the Spuds new pitching coach.

Treasure Valley Sports cannot confirm the actual use of electronic communication devices, a violation of league rules, however the phone call recordings are being investigated by league officials. At this time, calls to Boise have not been returned and the Commissioner's office has yet to release a statement.

First off... Francessa is NEVER wrong ;) - He will just hang up on you before you can prove it. Can't stand listening to that man. Made a BIIIIIIG deal he was leaving the airwaves for good. Less than a year hes back (and charging) for extra content. Way better options to listen to in nowadays.

I heard his new format after this current hiatus is going to include political commentary too! That's not going to end well!
