WEEK IN REVIEW (1-6): As quickly as Boise jumped above .500, a frustrating week has the Spuds at 64-66 and now in fourth place in the Frick Frontier with Edmonton jumping up to third. Despite losing six games, Boise's run differential was only -8, losing three games by one run and two by two runs.

GAME OF THE WEEK: The Spuds' lone bright spot for the week was a 4-1 victory on August 22nd at Hawaii. Relievers Dave Walsh and Bill Pidduck combined for five innings of no-hit ball, allowing just one walk and striking out six Tropics batters. Pedro Holguín's first-inning triple to drive home leadoff hitter Dennis French put the Spuds up early, and a ninth-inning solo shot from Carlos Muñóz sealed the victory for Boise.
