So first Jorge Baez goes down till roster expansion with a torn labia...er...labrum...note: I have a torn labrum in my left shoulder and it hasn't affected my ability to throw a baseball...I know, I'm right-handed...just saying...
Then, on June 29, 2038 Maxim Makin decided it would be a good time to throw his 6th best pitch (curve ball) and strained his rotator cuff and that's when the music died in Boise. So bye bye Boise's run up high, drove our starting pitchers to the ledge, and dropped them into the night, and them good old boys at OOTP were toasting up high, saying this will be the day Boise dies, this will be the day Boise dies.
So, now we go forward with Akihisa Oka and Stan The Man Levitan. So, basically, all hope is lost and Boise is now known as the "titanics." Hopefully the guys will enjoy their time free falling through the standings...
Tator Tots:
- Dennis French is hitting .399 heading into the all-star break. We have talked to him about at least trying in the 2nd half...
- through 85 games our catchers are still on pace to hit 42 HR's combined. They also are projected to get above a 3.25 WAR combined.
