Rocky Mountain Introduces Justin Niles.(62.01)
Good afternoon, everyone. Today, we're thrilled to introduce a leader who's been a cornerstone of Brewster Baseball management for over three decades. Justin Niles, former general manager of the Omaha Cyclones, is joining the Rocky Mountain Oysters as our new head of baseball operations.
After spending 30 remarkable years guiding the Cyclones through triumphs and challenges, Justin took a brief sabbatical after the 2059 season that many in the baseball world watched with curiosity. Now, after 5 seasons, he's ready to bring his wealth of experience and strategic vision to our organization.
During those 30 seasons in Omaha, Niles accumulated a record of 2486-2378, qualifying for the playoffs 14 teams and winning the Brewster once in 2046. From 2045-2057, Omaha qualified for the post season 8 times. After taking over a Cyclones team in 2030 that won 56 games, Niles quickly transformed the organization, and by 2033(2 season later), had the team over .500 with an 82-80 record. After reaching that point, from 2033 until his departure in 2059, Niles had just 7 losing seasons.
Niles arrives with a proven track record of developing talent, creating winning cultures, and connecting deeply with both players and fans. His tenure with the Cyclones saw unprecedented growth, multiple championship runs, and a reputation for turning promising young athletes into professional standouts.
He at times has been associated the most with “player loyalty”, as many of the players on his Omaha teams during the years were with the team for 10+ seasons, with many of them having only put on one uniform their entire career.
The other thing that comes to mind when you think of Justin Niles, is Emilio Morales. The long-time slugger in Omaha who rewrote the record books for not only Omaha, but also a short time for the BBA as the home run king.
"Baseball isn't just a game," Niles said during his initial remarks, "it's a community, a family. And the Rocky Mountain Oysters are about to become a family that opponents won't forget."
When asked about his short hiatus, Niles chuckled and said, "Sometimes you need to step back to leap forward. And let me tell you, I'm ready to leap."
The Rocky Mountain Oysters are excited to begin this new chapter, with Justin Niles at the helm, ready to stir things up in the league.

You've got some really good players to work with but not sure how the finances look. The team hasn't had a consistent direction in a little while.

Welcome back Justin. Something tells me that you will have a scary team sooner rather than later.
