Rocky Mountain Oyster Manager Lorenzo Herrera named his selections for this season's All Star game. In just his 2nd season as Manager of the Oysters, Herrera and his team zipped through their first couple of series in the playoffs without dropping a game before going to a 7th game against Des Moines before finally pulling out the win.

In naming his selections, Herrera was quoted as saying, "We got every team in there, right? I've been busy trying to figure out this year's team. I just told my wife she could pick but to make sure at least one from every team was there. I know there may have been a couple of homer picks in there but hey, let the other guys win the Brewster and then not reward a couple of their guys. If anyone has a problem with these choices, let them know how to get in touch with me."
