Rocky Mountain Oysters Ace, SP Alaric Wullenweber will be skipping his next scheduled start due to a recent strained abdominal muscle that saw him get listed as Day-to-Day for approximately a week.

"We're going to have Alaric skip his next scheduled start to make sure he is fully healed. Its a risk to sit your Ace with 14 games left to the season and only a 5.5 game lead in the Division but Boise has been reeling lately {Wullenweber's next scheduled start was against Boise] but we expect him to be back for for his next start against San Antonio," said Oysters Manager Lorenzo Herrerra.

For the season, Wullenweber is 13-6 in 28 games started (175.1 IP), an ERA of 4.26 to go along with his 164 strikeouts and only 30 walks. In last year's playoffs, Wullenweber started 5 games (31 IP) and went 3-1 with an ERA of 3.77 with 13 strikeouts and 3 walks. The Oysters are hoping he can match those numbers and get them a round further than the Oysters made it last year.

Feel free to sit him for that 2nd scheduled start also. I wouldn't want him to rush his pitches to the plate due to the Outlaws blinding speed and tear something else.

He hasnt seen San Antonio since April when he gave up 4 ER in just 5.2 IP. He wants some revenge.
