The Morning Glory 2055.03 - WTF?

Generally, late July is not a time for big experiments for a Division-leading ballclub. We've come to realize though, that the GM of the Rocky Mountain Oysters, Brett Golden, is not your normal, everyday, run-of-the-mill GM. Rumor has it that GM Golden has sent down some transactions and line-up "recommendations" to Oysters Manager Lorenzo Herrera.

The first, and most shocking, is that the BBA's far-and-away WAR leader CF Resurrection Santos III, has been sent down to AAA Albuquerque. With long-time OF António López brought up to fill in the empty roster spot, and recently acquired OF Muhsin bin Abdul still getting his feet under him in Colorado, the Oysters outfield could be an interesting spectacle in the coming weeks.

Add to that the rumors that last year's Sawyer Silk award winner, IF Malik bin Mazin will be playing thirdbase for a "stint," presumably meaning Tomás Borges and Arturo Gonzáles will be sharing time at firstbase, moving 3B Scott Torres over to secondbase, the Oysters may run into some troubles defensively as everyone makes their adjustments.

What is going on in Rocky Mountain territory these days? Is GM Golden's dog whispering in his ears and making these suggestions? Perhaps its that 80-year old Ted Lasso fellow that the Oysters hired as a "consultant" that is actually steering the ship? Is this part of The Plan®? Stay tuned and we'll find out together!
