From July 13th to August 4th, the Rocky Mountain Oysters was a flurry of celebrations and exciting news! Let's recap:

-- 13 July: OF Resurrection Santos III, the Rookie, hits for the cycle while going 4 for 5 against the New Orleans Crawdads. Santos also had 3 RBIs and 3 Runs scored.

-- 14 July: OF Ramón 'Waco' Pagán wins the JL Player of the Week award. For the week (AS game week), Pagan batted .500 with 4 HRs, 10 RBIs, and 7 Runs scored.

-- 21 July: The Oysters finalized a trade that sent 3 pitchers to the Boise Spuds in return for Bernie Stuart.

-- 1 August: OF Resurrection Santos III wins the JL Rookie of the Month award. For the month of July, Santos batted .413 with 43 hits, 5 HRs, 21 RBIs, and 22 Runs scored. This was the first time Santos won this award.

-- 1 August: The Oysters finalized a contract extension for SP Stephen Best for 5-years at $43 million.

-- 3 August: 1B Robert Chenoweth launched his 300th career HR. Chenoweth is having a career year, currently standing at #9, #2, and #1 in the Triple Crown categories.

-- 4 August: OF Cinema Jones wins the JL Player of the Week award. For the week, Jones went 14 for 28 with 2 HRs, 5 RBIs, and 7 Runs scored. It was the second time Jones won the award this season.

-- 4 August: They Oysters traded a minor league 3B to the Chicago Black Sox for RP Manuel Cruz.

-- 4 August: The Oysters traded Pitchers Eugenio Asseldonk and Matt Alicea to the Montreal Blazers for C/DH Rainer Scheffer.
