The Patriot Pandas lost the first game of the sim despite the St Joseph starter walking eight batters and that set the tone for the sim with Columbus losing two series and, indeed, only winning one game of the six. They were roughed up in Beloit, failing to score in a 10-0 romp for the Blue Sox and outhit 16-3 while only managing two runs in each of the other two games. In fact, they were outhit 36-13 in the series. Mike Sears was the best of a bad bunch for the sim, hitting two homers and four doubles over the course of the sim while Ray Longley took the Patriot Pandas only win of the sim, going 6.2 innings, allowing six hits & two walks while striking out seven batters and only giving up a single run
