A run of four losses at the end of the sim kept the Patriot Pandas bottom of the division and ensured they slipped further behind. Columbus did at least avoid being swept by Weymouth and won the series with Providence. They were swept easily in New Bern though. Norberto Acuna hit two solo homers against the Bees on the 17th and drove another run in with a triple.
