Sim 9: Albuquerque leading chasing pack but three and a half games back of Victoria

May 25th vs Missouri Blues W 6-1
Two runs scored by the Coyotes in both the second and third innings sorted out this win against the Blues who didn’t score their only run until the seventh. Matt Chambers drove three runs in mainly thanks to a 2-run homer while Raul Lopez went 2-3, scoring once and driving another run in. Bartolo Deleon only allowed five hits, one walk and a run in his 5.1 innings of work.

May 26th @ San Francisco Dove L 3-4
Albuquerque scored in the first innings and then trailed 1-2, tied 2-2 before two runs by San Francisco in the sixth finished them off. Chris Jenkins went 2-5, driving two runs in, Gaspar Silvo drove in the other run with a 2-3 performance.

May 27th @ San Francisco Doves W 7-2
Coyotes led 2-1 after two innings and went on to score a run in five of the remaining innings for a comfortable win. Five of Albuquerque’s seven runs came via the long ball. Arturo Huerta went 2-4 scoring once and driving two in while Chris Jenkins went 2-3 with a walk scoring once. Taito Kimmonen pitched eight innings to improve his record to 5-2

May 28th @ San Francisco Doves L 4-10
The Doves sealed the series win in the final game. It was all done and dusted as early as the third innings when San Francisco plated eight runs, helped by two multi-run homers, an error, a walk and a wild pitch. Luis Ayala went 3-5 without troubling the scorers, Matt Chambers hit his 11th homer of the season. Chet Dickinson failed to get out of the third innings, allowing four hits, two walks and seven unearned runs

May 30th vs Los Cabos Corsairs W 4-2
After trailing 0-1 after the first innings the Coyotes turned it around with three runs in the third which proved to be enough as Los Cabos failed to score again until plating a solitary run in the ninth. Matt Chambers went 1-2 with a walk, scoring once on a 2-run homer and collecting a total of four RBI. Aloisio Prudente also went 1-2 with a walk and he scored twice. Joe Jones pitched seven innings to take the win and improve his record to 4-5.

May 31st vs Los Cabos Corsairs W 7-2
Four runs by the Coyotes in the third innings, started by a lead-off solo homer from Fernando Casimiro, was enough to seal their second successive win. Bartolo Deleon pitched 6.2 innings to improve his record to 3-0 with a 1.62 ERA in his first experience of Triple-A

May 29th vs Los Cabos Corsairs W 4-3 (F/11)
The lead in this final game switched hands three times before ending up knotted at 3-3 after nine innings. Coyotes completed the sweep of Corsairs in the 11th innings when Fernando Casimiro belted the first ball into the stands for the walk-off run off of former Aviator Damon Tipping. Chris Jenkins went 2-4 scoring twice while Seitaro Ugaki, long forgotten by Chili fans, got his first win of 2045 by getting out the final five batters.
