Generous donations allow Wichita to build HoF Visitor Centre

With the announcement by 36-yr-old Abe Colbert Jr that he was retiring at the end of 2043 after eight years with the Aviators and a 14-year long BBA career there was a lot of calls for Wichita to build a Hall of Fame centre and make Colbert, Jr the first inductee. He was one of the players drafted by Wichita in the 2034 BBA Expansion Draft. The airwaves of the Talk Radio shows were filled with calls on the topic and social media forums were full of it.

Eventually one of the most influential fan groups, the Flight Crew, stepped forward and announced that it had raised enough money to build a fitting Hall of Fame Visitor Centre in the far corner of the main car park at Thomas Magnum Stadium. Surprisingly enough it was expected to be finished by the end of the week. New owner, Brother Allred, was quoted as saying “I’m proud that our Wichita builders are apparently so fast at their job”. The leader of the flight Crew was quoted as saying “We were very pleased to have raised enough money to complete this important project. The Aviators are heading towards their tenth season and we feel the time is right. The quality of the Visitors Centre will be of a typical Wichita undertaking. Most of all we were pleased to get change from the $300 raised”

It is expected to be fully open at the start of 2044 and cost around $20 for a guided tour
