ALBUQUERQUE COYOTES (Triple-A)
In part two of the 2042 Albuquerque Preview we have the batter’s roster. A lot of youngsters, but not really that much of ‘up & coming’ youngsters. More than a few bumps are required to turn this motley crew into a “promising” line-up. We can but hope though, what more can you do when the farm is bereft of any talent and the FA jar has nothing but a few dimes in it.

A bit of a logjam at 1B / DH but not a lot around the infield that will ever see any regular time in the BBA, more of a set of ambulance chasers, hoping the next injury will mean a call-up for them.

Four out of seven outfielders are in their first season with the Wichita organisation and hopefully will provide a solid outfield crew for Albuquerque.
So, there it is, all the three highest level affiliates have now set their rosters and are ready for 2042. Reviewing them they look a lot better than the 2041 results showed. Have they improved, are their stats lying? We are about to find out over the next five to six months, let’s hope we can perform better in 2042 than last year.
