2040.01 Aviators stumble out of gate

The Aviators started off 2040 by sucking. A 5-12 record is only better than the lowly Boise Spuds.
"I never thought I'd say this words," grimaced Genius Hopkins, "But Thank God for Boise."
"Their hot mess of garbage is the only thing that is keeping us out of the basement. What a bunch of clowns."
It's hard to pinpoint the reason for Wichita's struggles. The offence is 13th in the league, and their pitching is 10th. Just shit all around.
Slugger Duane Whitley, has more stolen bases (6), than homeruns (1 or 2...who knows?). Ace pitcher Kevin Morales has a 7.29 FIP. Career .270 hitter, Pedro Martinez is hitting .400. Everything is upside down and sideways.
