Twenty year old. Wichita Aviator prospect, Jim 'Cadillac' Gouzzie, was called up to the Show on September 1st and installed at the hot corner for the remainder of the month for the Aviators.

Gouzzie crushed eight homeruns in his 29 games played, and compiled a .276/.365/.552/.917 slash line while playing plus defence at third base.

Gouzzie was drafted tenth overall by the Aviaotrs in the 2038 draft, after winning the College batter of the year and the College shortstop Platinum stick of the Year. He was quickly named the sixteenth prospect in all of baseball, and won the AAA platinum stick at third base for the Aviators AAA Albuquerque team in 2039, in addition to being named to the AAA All-Star team.

Gouzzie has taken to third base well, and been exclusively trained at the position since being drafted, but the Aviators have recently been discussing installing the young man at shortstop, as the current young superstar incumbent, Alex Ramirez, struggled with a reduced range in 2039, and may be better suited to play third base.

However, the Aviators defensive lineup is ultimately constructed, its looking very good for 2040, with Gouzzie, Ramirez, Duane Whitley Jr., and Gabriel Talamante set to star. Talamante had 38 homeruns in an injury abbreviated 2039 season, and Whitley and Ramirez had 36 each; Gouzzie is projected to have more power than any of them.
