The fast fading wildcard pretenders, the Wichita Aviators, named their September call-ups today.

The big name involved in heralded third baseman, Jim Gouzzie, who will make his big league debut, fifteen months after being selected with the tenth overall pick in the 2038 amateur draft.

Gouzzie has taken professional baseball by storm, lighting up the AAA circuit and being named to the AAA all-star game, months after winning the College MVP award.

Wichita fans will get to see him make his major league debut against Louisville, before the Aviator's take off on a 15 day, 14 game road trip.

Also called up is much beloved defensive masterclass, Armenian center-fielder Tatoul Kyapanskian, who was toiling down in AA Columbus in 2039. The man excites on the base-paths and in the field. But is a little lost at the plate.

Joining the pair is youngster Jose Carlos Flores, who started 2039 in the Bigs before GM Hopkins went on his annual early April roster building spree. Flores enjoyed a tremendous 2039 in AAA.

The roster moves will see a revamped Wichita infield, with third baseman Duane Whitley Jr., moving to first base to share a platoon with Chris Limon, to make room for Gouzzie.

Clohessey and Cordova have lost their weak side platoon roles to make room for Kyapanskian and Flores.

Gouzzie is ready. Major addition, there. It'll be fun to see how TK does overall. Certainly a walking Web-Gem.
