2037.12...On A Higher Plane...Logan arrives...yet again

The Wichita Aviators have announced the free agent signing of journeyman catcher, 31 year old, Don Logan, on the eve of Opening Day 2037.

The polarizing Logan was inked to a two year deal of $3 million for 2037, and a $4 million team option for 2038.

The oft-travelled Logan is on his fifth professional franchise in the past four seasons, and seventh over his career. Logan has a mercenary reputation, but is still beloved by the majority of the BBA fans. There must be something about a squat 5'11', 210 lb fire hydrant of a catcher flying around the base-paths, that appeals to the fans.

Logan is an on base machine, and has stolen 200 career bases over his 11 year career that started in Europe in Amsterdam. He's not much of a receiver, but he's not a complete black hole either, behind the plate.

This is Logan's second run with the Aviators, previously signing a one year deal prior to the Aviators 2035 expansion year season, and than being dealt midway through that season (with Duck Cantrell) when neither would sign an extension to remain with the club at seasons end.

Logan will team with twenty-three year old Anibel Garcia, to give the 2037 Aviators an above average catching duo. Greybeard Paul Scholes remains on the 27 man roster to teach the pair some professionalism.
