The Wichita Aviators seem unlikely to sign any international free agents in 2037, due to spending $5.4 million in 2036 on international free agents in 2036; (a decision that ultimately cost them their #1 draft pick).
Here's what they got for their dosh.
Hector Garza cost $1.7 million, and his potential has yet to drop off of a cliff. He's interesting in that he looks like he will be able to handle any position (besides short and center), very well, and that he will hit for some power and average.
Gustavo Ledezma cost $1.55 million, and he projects as a pretty average big league second baseman.
Theolobad Feldhahn cost $550k, and he projects as a very capable big league right fielder, with a decent if not overly impressive bat.
Shao-qui Bai cost $460k, and he's starting to look like a weak side platoon outfielder if he can reach his full potential.
German Lopez cost $890k, and that's starting to look like lost money at this point in time, already.

How did that cost a #1? Not having cash to spend?
