The baseball mastermind has completed two trades in a whirlwind of offer and counteroffers, the likes of which the BBA hasn't seen, since...well...ever.

Joining the Wichita club are two names very familiar to long-time Genius watchers, thirty-six year old legend, Paul Scholes, and twenty-six year old second baseman Sparky Anderson. Leaving Wichita are a bunch of guys that nobody cares about...to places that nobody cares about.

"Its hard to believe how much better we are today, than we were yesterday,"smiled the Genius,"These guys are winners, leaders...Sluggers...errrr...Aviators."

"The goal is the same as its always been, to finish at .500 for the season...we only need go 34-11 the rest of the way. Its extremley likely, really."

"There is very little truth to the rumour that we will be leaving Wichita for Albequerque next season...well...its more like 50/50...if these hayseeds won't pay to watch us, then we'll go somewhere else..the lousy ingrates."

Scholes is projected to improve the Aviators pitching staff by a full half run a game, simply by existing.

Sparky is slotted in to fill in for the departed Logan at the top of the Wichita batting order...and his plus defence is a welcome upgrade from Chester Owens indiffernet style of play.

"We are so awesome," gushed the Genius," Scholes, Perez, Sparky, Kouda, Draper, Gabriel, Dickinson, some guy in left, and Curry...we're as good as anyone else in pro ball...all I really need now is the top 3/5 of a pitching staff..."
